Subtle is still intentional
Light contact is not an unfinished version of deep massage. It is a distinct choice for people and moments that call for less input.
A new Lovelock chapter
We're planning to welcome you at 921 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around the first week of November. The exact date is still taking shape, so appointments remain at our Baylen Street location until we confirm the transition.

A gentle, quiet approach for rest, subtle body awareness, and people who prefer lighter touch.
The approach
Craniosacral work is a subtle form of hands-on bodywork. Sessions use light, sustained contact and periods of stillness rather than deep pressure or constant movement. For people who feel overstimulated, tender, or simply curious about a quieter way of receiving touch, that simplicity can be the point.
You remain clothed and usually rest on your back, with positioning adjusted for comfort. Contact may be offered at the feet, sacrum, shoulders, or head. I do not force a response or promise a particular outcome; the work is an invitation to notice, rest, and let the session unfold at a manageable pace.
This may be a fit for
What to expect
Wear soft, comfortable clothing. We arrange the table and supports so you can rest without strain.
We discuss what the work may include, areas you prefer to avoid, and how you would like to communicate during the session.
The session uses light holds and spacious pacing. You do not need to perform, visualize, or create a specific sensation.
We leave time at the end to orient, sit up slowly, and put words to anything you want to remember.
How I work
Light contact is not an unfinished version of deep massage. It is a distinct choice for people and moments that call for less input.
Bodies respond differently. I offer attentive contact and honest scope without promising that one session will solve a symptom or condition.
You may speak, stay quiet, ask what I am doing, request a change, or end contact at any point.
A note on scope: Craniosacral work is offered as massage/bodywork for relaxation and body awareness, not as diagnosis or treatment of disease. Continue working with qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
Yes. Wear comfortable, flexible clothing such as a T-shirt, soft pants, or leggings. Shoes are removed, and blankets or bolsters can be added for comfort.
Most contact is light and sustained, with quiet pauses. Experiences vary: you may notice warmth, breath, subtle movement, deep rest, or nothing dramatic at all. There is no correct response.
Often, yes. Tell me what you are hoping for when we begin, and we can decide whether a blended session or a primarily craniosacral session makes the most sense that day.
